Accommodation We Offer
Bedrooms
We have 36 single bedrooms here at The Old Rectory Nursing Home, with a number of them having en-suite facilities.
All our rooms have been tastefully decorated to a high standard, with coordinating curtains and bed linen. All of the usual fixtures and fittings are included, with all the rooms having bedroom furniture that meets all the requirements you would expect to find in a home of our calibre. Residents are encouraged to bring in their own possessions to make their bedroom more personal. Families are more than welcome to supply items such as televisions, radios and trinkets/ornaments with biannual PAT safety testing performed on all electrical items.
Bathing
The four bathrooms, each equipped with fitted hoist tracking systems and raised baths are designed to increase the comfort and bathing pleasure for residents. The latest award winning bathing technology offers bathers the dignity of independence with security, comfort and minimum effort where bathing assistance is required.
Lifts
Two specifically designed passenger lifts enable residents to travel in utmost confidence between the bedrooms and downstairs amenities. Visitors are also welcome to use the lifts if they too have mobility issues or have heavy belongings.

Work on a new extension to the building has just been completed adding more space to the original rooms that fronted the building. One of these includes a new and professional extended dining room where residents are encouraged to eat and of course socialise with other residents.
